Master of Science in Physics

The Master examination provides the qualification of a thorough research-oriented scientific education. The students shall learn to tackle problems in physics and solve them, possibly beyond current knowledge, by means of scientific tools. The spezialization fields of the study are oriented at the Bonn research focuses in Particle Physics and Photonics/Condensed Matter. In addition, courses broadening the expertise into neighbouring, related fields shall enable the students to comprehend interdisciplinary contexts. The scientific tools and cognitions shall be applied with independence, responsibility and self-criticism.

The Master Course is modularly structured and will take usually two years.
